InsureMyTrip’s educational vacation insurance method now offers optional “Interruption for Any Reason” coverage
The optional Interruption for Any Rationale (IFAR) benefit provides the ability to terminate tutoring leave early on top of concerns or issues not covered by their system, including fears associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. IFAR reimburses up to 75% of uninsured travel costs if you interrupt your trip 48 hours or more after your departure date. (Rewards are an issue to point out and eligibility specs. See program document for complete facts.)
“As schools continue to provide tutored travel schedules, mitigating monetary pitfalls during the pandemic is really important,” says Suzanne Morrow, vice president of business development for InsureMyTrip. “We are pleased to offer Interruption for Any Motive as a selection for the innovative and unique Tutorial Explorer plan. It is invaluable security, especially in these uncertain times.
In addition to optional termination for any reason, the Educational Explorer Travel Security Program offers additional vacation cancellation benefits, including baggage, baggage hold, and vacation hold, as well as holiday advice providers (not an insurance plan premium).
Cancellation for any reason (CFAR) coverage may also be additional to the plan in most states. This coverage could offer a 75% refund to those who have to cancel an educational trip for a reason not normally covered by their system, such as cancellations due to fear of contracting COVID-19. A trip must be canceled no later than 2 days before the scheduled departure date. (CFAR benefits depend on state and eligibility requirements. See Readiness document for details.)
